Can the NIT's be given similar autonomy on how to handle alumni donations? Murli Manohar Joshi made a mess of things by insisting that donations would have to be made to all NIT's, and not any one of them individually. That deterred many people from giving funds to their alma mater.

Its a great idea to give the big hand to IIT-B Alumni Association, Both are benefited by this gr8 idea, also it bond to IIT-B alumni Association strongly with IIT-B Alumni People. A big thanks from my side to IIT-B Alumni Association through which my younger brother Pritesh Kumar get benefited and achieved his goal and selected in ONGC .
